Bitcoin isn't really being used for its original purpose as a global p2p system.
Instead, its main value comes from the universally understood meme of it being "digital gold."
Can we say the same about the dollar?
Its supply roughly doubles every decade, and the US government can freeze any electronic bank account in various countries and with stablecoin issuers.
Yet, it doesn't stop the dollar from being the world's primary means of exchange, including in crypto. So, its main value seems to come from the meme "accepted everywhere."
To me, Ethereum is the deflationary meme of "Ultrasound money," thanks to Vitalik and the whole ETH culture.
Among the most important memes for me, alongside BTC, USD, and ETH, is DEGEN. It's something internal, familiar, kinda like the "Artful Dodger" or an “Artful Degen”.
