Heno. + NeueHouse invite you to experience the preview of I'm Tired of Being Hypersurveilled, a concept album where artist Heno. confronts the relentless daily surveillance he experiences as a black man in America.
The program will preview the new 14-track project through a musical showcase and presentation of the accompanying music video game, directed by long-time collaborator Taramoves. The short musical performance will be followed by a conversation with the artists, moderated by Kas Vegas, and following time for the audience to engage in gameplay.
Hailing from Takoma Park, Maryland, Heno. is a first-generation Ethiopian-Eritrean artist, Heno. uses his music to find comfort within uncomfortable conversations, deftly bridging music, Web3, and social advocacy.
Mixed Desi artist, animator, and educator, Taramoves bridges identity and digital innovation, examining how technology reshapes our sense of self through film, live visuals, and immersive experiences.
Connecting education with community, Kas Vegas continues to passionately support and onboard new creatives. In the rapidly emerging NFT space, she bridges the gap between art, tech, culture and provenance, and brings an enthusiastic voice to new projects, ventures, and creators.
