Description
Before my first footwear design position, I was cultivating my dream in my mom's basement; designing sneakers for my favorite athletes. Basketball taught me a lot about life, especially the mental aspect of always being able to pivot and flip the switch of momentum when it counts.
These are the Kyrie 1.5's, drawn with pen, pencil and render marker on paper, circa 2015.
I initially saw a gap, where the shoes I was assigned to sell at footlocker just wasn't cutting it. Thus, the dream was born.
